WordPress Plugin: Hide on Homepage

Will give it a shot. Currently I use asides to archive the posts that should not hit the home page. However it does show in recent entries.
Does this plugin prevent that?

Zufällig bin ich über dein Plugin gestolpert. Der Beschreibung nach hört sich das Plugin an, als sei es das, welches ich seit ein paar Wochen suche. :)

Does the plugin work in only Wordpress 2.1? Or will it back date to Wordpress 2.0.7?

@Thomas: The plugin is not tested on Wordpress 2.0.7 yet. Please give me some feedback if you decide to give it a try…

Hi david,.. i just want to hide a part of the post in the home page, but when the guest goes into the post he/she can read the whole thing. Its not like cuz i want to hide lets say the middle part of the post where i show a video

This plugin seems to work fine under 2.0.7. It installed and my minor testing seems positive.

Nice plugin :) I was looking for such a plugin… I wonder if you are thinking about making these hided posts, hided in the RSS feed too, it would be great (sorry for my english speaking :p)

I found this while searching for a plugin that will show all content to logged in users but only certain content or pages to users who are not logged in. Does anyone know of a plugin or hack that will work this kind of magic?

Hello janine,

install and activate the plugin as described above. Then create a custom field with the key “hide_on_homepage” and the value “1″ (both without the quotes) for the entry you want to hide.
